Gas plasma treatment is a proven standard for controlled substrate surface cleaning, adhesion promotion and thin film coatings. The plasma is created by using high frequency voltages to ionize the low pressure gas (typically around 1/1000 atmospheric pressure). It offers a variety of possibilities for surface modification, such as plasma cleaning (removing surfaces with residues, oils, or contamination), plasma activation (activation of various materials before gluing or painting etc. further treatment), plasma etching (moving materials from surfaces) and plasma coating (coting of parts).  

The PlasmaBeam Mini is an atmospheric plasma processor for surface cleaning, modification and activation.
