FluoSurf™ is a biocompatible fluorinated surfactant specifically designed and optimized for production of monodisperse aqueous solution-in-oil droplets in fluorinated oils for chemical or biotechnological applications.  FluoSurf™ ensures long-term droplet stability, even in extreme conditions. Quality controls have specifically been developed to verify its purity and performance.  There are three types of FluoSurf fluorinated surfactants: FluoSurf-C™, FluoSurf-O™ and FluoSurf-S™ . 

• FluoSurf-C™ is an inert block copolymer formulated to stabilize droplets containing biological compounds, making it ideal for applications such as droplet digital polymerase chain reaction (ddPCR) or single-cell analysis in droplet-based microfluidic experiments.
  
• FluoSurf-O™ offers ultra-low auto-fluorescence, enhancing its effectiveness in detecting fluorescent dyes even at low concentrations.
• FluoSurf-S™ is a surfactant derived from FSC and FSO with a low molecular weight, facilitating the generation of droplets at a high frequency. It excels at stabilizing droplets during thermocycling, even under extreme conditions. In instances of dye leakage issues, it is advised to avoid using FSO.

• Stability:  FluoSurf allows the stabilization of droplets from 1 to 300μm with a high generation frequency and keeps droplets stable during heating cycles.
