The ARCoptix liquid cell module (OEM-PART-LCX) has been developed for application in high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). However, the application range is much broader - it can be used as a standalone transmission cell for liquid or even high-pressure gases. The OEM-PART-LCX is a high pressure, chemical and heat resistant cell for liquids spectroscopy. The cell has been tested to function up to 210 Bars and 180°C. 

The cell body is manufactured from L316 stainless steel, with Hastelloy available upon request. The optical path length is adjustable from 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm. All wetted surfaces are composed of gold, sapphire (standard), stainless steel or Hastelloy, and carbon. This material selection makes the cell particularly suitable for transmission spectroscopy within the typical windows of organic solvents.

For temperature‑controlled operation, the cell can be mounted on a tubular extender, allowing insertion into a thermostat—such as directly alongside an HPLC flow line—while minimizing remixing of separated fractions. The usable spectral range is determined by the FTIR detector and the cell window material, typically spanning 2–6 µm.
