Workflow

  • Prepare and load PCR reaction mixture

Include template DNA, primers, nucleotides, and Taq polymerase and load reaction mixture into PCR tube. Select a prebuild program, modfiy program template or build a new thermocycling program from scratch 

  • Set annealing temperature range

Optima 96 has six independent heating/cooling modules for PRC optimization and excellent gradient temperature accuracy (+0.1°C). A 5 °C differential can be set between each of the 6 modules allowing for ultimate PCR optimization and 25 °C span for analyzing performance temperatures in a single run. 

  • Start and monitor PCR reaction
