This product is a positive displacement pump where a piston reciprocates within the pump cylinder. The piston pump is available in various configurations and materials to meet different requirements for precision, accuracy, linear translation speeds, and chemical compatibility. It is designed to handle viscous media and media containing particles. With an estimated lifetime of 3 million cycles (using deionized water), this pump significantly reduces maintenance costs.

The 6 mL large-volume piston pump is mainly optimized for OEM instruments or equipment requiring precise fluid handling. The pump can be used alongside solenoid valves to enable auto-pipetting, sample dilution and dispensing, reagent metering, and mixing in analytical instruments.
