The piezoelectric micro pump is a miniaturized mechanical displacement pumping device that consists of a piezoelectric actuator and passive check valves.  When voltage is applied (inverse piezoelectric effect), the piezoelectric actuator expands or contracts which results in pumping action from the pump chamber. The check valves on both sides of the pump chamber define the flow direction for each pumping stroke.   The driving frequency and pumping stroke of the pump determine the average flow rate.  This small and lightweight piezoelectric micropump is suitable for both liquid or gas flow control.  The testing kit includes micro pump and its controller.
