Deterministic lateral displacement (DLD) is an efficient approach to separate small spherical particles or cells using an array of staggered obstacles, such as rectangular or cylindrical posts. Particles or cells that are smaller than the post spacing remain in their lanes, while large particles are deflected to neighboring lanes. This glass microfluidic chips are designed for particle or cell separation in a continuous flow. The fluidic access inlet and outlet ports can be bonded with NanoPort assemblies or can be inserted with stainless steel tubes.
