The MRD Series Intelligent Infrared Spectrometer Electronic Auto Moisture-proof Box is a specialized humidity control device designed for Fourier transform infrared spectrometers (FTIR) and any other moisture sensitive instrument/devices without the use of Nitrogen gas, compressed dry air or vacuum desiccators. Its purpose is to effectively safeguard critical components such as the Interferometer, optical windows, and detector from damage caused by moisture absorption.

The MRD electronic moisture-proof box is a more cost-effective alternative to maintain a dry environment for FTIR system. The product meets the PC/JEDECJ-STD-033B operating standard (i.e. The humidity does not exceed 50RH%). It utilizes an air-tight design and an intelligent dehumidification system with regenerative moisture-absorbing molecular layer film.   Once the moisture level exceeds the set humidity level, the system will automatically start dehumidification using the moisture-absorbing film.  Meanwhile the system constantly regenerates the moisture-absorbing film. The dry box has low energy consumption, and no consumable materials are needed. Even with power failure, the system can continue to dehumidify through the chemical moisture absorption and keep humidity increase no more than 10% within 24Hrs.
